Huawei is set to launch a new smartphone in its Nova lineup. The company’s Malaysia unit teased the global announcement of the Huawei Nova 5T. There it was revealed that the first look of the phone will be shown on August 25 at the #WeAreNova Fashion Showcase. The phone was recently spotted in Android Enterprise Solution Directory before it was removed. According to some rumors, the Nova 5T vote could be a rebranded version of Honor 20.
3Huawei Malaysia Chapter announced the launch date of Nova 5T in a Facebook post. However, the company has not yet shared any more details about the phone. The Huawei Nova lineup now includes Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro, Nova 5i and Nova 5i Pro. Huawei Nova 5T will be the fifth phone in this series. According to some specifications listed in Google’s Android Enterprise Solution Directory, Huawei Nova 5T can be provided with a 5.5-inch screen with hole-punch, 8GB RAM, storage up to 256GB, fingerprint sensor. However, Huawei Nova 5T is really the rebranded version of Honor 20. It will have a hole-punch selfie camera with a 6.26 inch full HD plus all-view display. The phone will have HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC, 6GB RAM, and 3,750mAh battery. Huawei Nova 5T will be given 48MP primary shooter and 32MP selfie camera with the triple rear camera setup. No firm information is available about the phone yet. For this, we will have to wait till August 25.
