The Chinese electronics and smartphone maker has unveiled its new HarmonyOS yesterday. With this new operating system, the company has launched a new Vision Smart TV of its all brand Honor. This is the first product of the company that has been launched with this new operating system. This smart TV series has been introduced at the ongoing HDC 2019 (Huawei Developers Conference) in China. This smart TV series has been introduced with the Honghu 818 chipset processor and camera equipped with Artificial Intelligence.
The flagship-level wi fi chip with NPU chipset is also given in this smart TV. The special thing about the Honghu 818 chipset processor is that it has been developed by Honor itself and it can do high-quality image processing. Apart from this, features like super-resolution, noise reduction, dynamic contrast improvement, auto-call management, and local dimming have been given. This smart TV has a pop-up camera.
Its pop-up camera has features such as face recognition, body tracking, posture detection equipped with artificial intelligence. Talking about the Wi-Fi chip of this smart TV, HiSilicon Hi 103 chip has been used in it, which is the first chip in the world to come with 160MHz bandwidth. It offers internet speeds of up to 1.7Gbps. It supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual frequency bands.
Talking about HarmonyOS, Huawei made it clear that its new operating system has not been brought to replace Android. This operating system has been introduced for cross-device work access. The Honor Vision Smart TV has a 55-inch 4K HDR display, as well as a bezel-less design. The screen-to-body ratio of this smart TV has been given up to 94 percent. This smart TV has been introduced with two variants 2GB + 16GB and 2GB + 32GB storage options. Its base variant has been offered at a price of CNY 3,799 (about Rs 38,200) whereas, its Pro variant has been offered at a price of CNY 4,799 (about Rs 48,300).
