Samsung already has access to the ISOCELL Bright GW1. The company owns a 64-megapixel camera sensor which was launched in May this year. However, it is not clear which Samsung’s first phone will be launched with this sensor. Tipster Ice Universe claims that Samsung plans to launch a new Galaxy A-Series phone in September or October.

The company has announced that it will give a glimpse of 64 megapixel quad-camera smartphones in India next week. The event will be held in New Delhi on August 8. Xiaomi’s sub-brand Radmi can launch its 64-megapixel camera phone soon in China, but the exact information about the date is not yet available.
