Ferrari Portofino has been launched in India. The company has kept its price at Rs 3.5 crore (ex-showroom). Portofino has been introduced in the Convertible 2 + 2 GT configuration and is the latest entry-level model in the Italian lineup of Supercar brand.
Ferrari Portofino was first introduced on the occasion of the company’s 70th anniversary in Italy last year. This car has been freshened in design. In Portofino, there are Sharp and sporty front-end as well as LED headlamps with boomerang shape. However, Portofino’s Overall Look has been kept in Ferrari’s signature design.
Talking about the rear profile of the car, it looks quite aggressive. It has Twin Tail Lamps, Quad Exhaust Setup, and Cantboard Boot Lid. This new car has a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. These engines generate power of 600bhp at 7,500rpm and pickup torque of 760Nm at 5,250rpm. The engine has been connected with standard 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Ferrari Portofino has been introduced with the new chassis and the company claims it is 35 percent stronger than the old model. Also, the new Ferrari weight has reduced to 80 kg. Since it is a convertible, it has a metal folding roof that is capable of closing and opening within a speed of 40km / h for 14 seconds.
Talking about the new car’s interior, it has been launched with a 2 + 2 seating arrangement. In the new Ferrari 10.2-inch touchscreen entertainment system, different 8.8-inch screen for Passengers and features like Apple Carpool connectivity have been provided.
